We offer a vast range of services that gravitate around three topics:

Our Research Services
AugmentX is a strong research partner in projects that assess human physical and cognitive stress. Our expertise with respect to integrated measurement of movement, forces, and physiological signals result in an impressive boost of quality and speed at which research takes place.
Mobile capabilities
Our mobile assessment capabilities are build around a synchronisation framework allowing us to integrate a random amount of sensors. This allows us to chose the set of sensors in function of the test campaign.
For example the output of biomechanical assessment based on measured ground reaction forces, simulation of weights in the hands and measurement of body motion.
Our Laboratories
AugmentX is spread out over two campusses
- The Vallidation and Demonstration lab in Kortrijk. Provides users with a vast industrial space. In here we can handel very large and very heavy components. We can also reproduce a mockup production line and test novel ideas over longer periods of time.
- The Research lab in Brussels is a smaller lab. Here work pieces are limited to 25kg. Also measurement time and environment moque ups are more conservative. On the other hand this lab offers the highest degree of precision.
Our Research Mission
Besides moving heaven and earth in order to foster excellent results for our customers, AugmentX is in constant persuit to expand our technical capabilities with as ultimate goal highly accurate assessment of the all major exoskeletons in the market. Our methodolology is several years beyond the state of the art. For passive exoskeletons this includes measurement of the exoskeleton characteristics but for active it implies realtime measurement of assistive torque.
Our Team
Our team consists of a large fixed staff of senior scinetists. And a near infinate pool of phd and master students active in the vibrant field of human robot interraction.
