In our master class, up to ten participants are welcome to spend half a day at the AugmentX Research Lab in Brussels. After an introduction, participants are invited to try out the exoskeletons of their choosing. One of the main advantages of this service is that it offers the lowest price per exoskeleton. We ensure that at least 13 passive and two active exoskeletons are available.
The workshop follows the usual format as described below. In contrast to the master class, we organize this at the company site. This allows participants to directly try out the exoskeletons in their actual environment on the contemplated tasks. For a workshop, we can bring up to eight exoskeletons. We advise limiting the number of participants to ten. A workshop typically requires half a day. Often, a workshop is combined with an acceptance assessment, providing management with greater insights into how individuals perceive and accept exoskeletons as part of their daily routine.
Research has demonstrated that interest in exoskeletons tends to vary during the initial use phase, following Gartner's hype cycle. Companies aiming to assess the acceptance of a particular exoskeleton for a specific task are interested in the long-term effects and level of acceptance. A pilot project starts with the general format. Subsequently, one or more exoskeletons are rented for a longer period. AugmentX advises two weeks for exo suits and one month for exoskeletons. Optionally, pilot projects can be combined with the 'implementation plan reporting' option. This provides insights into how acceptance evolved throughout the pilot project.
