Cobots are well known for their versatility, easy programming, and increased safety. At AugmentX, we have a vast collection of cobots and accessories. We are able to develop hardware and software components, which gives us the ability to develop and test technology demonstrators.

Companies interested in this technology may lack experience or be deterred by the high investment cost. AugmentX can help develop the necessary technology, allowing you to build your application in our facilities. This elevates your idea from vision to prototype. The company still needs to pay for the development cost, but they do not have to invest heavily upfront to develop the idea. If the demonstrator is convincing and gets implemented, your company receives all the custom software and hardware components developed for the demonstrator.

Use Cases

Bewel

I In this use case, we developed a robot gripper able to hold and orient an electric cabinet to an operator. Through visual feedback, the operator is reminded of the required actions. The operator can control the setup with pedal switches.

Robotic Pruning

In this project, AugmentX developed an end effector able to prune trees. This research project only required some help with rapid prototyping. The next step in this project is to run the robot without human input.

Safer

In this project, a cobot application was developed to aid in the rehabilitation process of patients. Through the use of novel sensorized cuffs, the patient's effort is verified, and based on this, the cobot is controlled. This application is a must-have tool for therapists, as it allows them to gain accurate insights into the rehabilitation process of patients.
