Cobot are well know for their versatility, easy programming and increased safety . At AugmentX we dispose of a vast collection of Cobots ands accessories. We are able to develop hard and software components which gives us the ability to develop and test technology demonstrators.

Compagnies who are interested in this technology may be lacking in experience or can be deterred by the high investment cost. AugmentX can help to develop the necesary technologie alowing you to build your application in our facilities. This elevates your idea from vision to prototype. The Compagnie still needs to pay for the development cost, but they do not have to invest heavily upfront in order to develop the idea. If the demonstrator is convincing and gets implemented, your compagnie receives all the custom soft and hardware components developed for the demonstrator.

We are also working on a protfolio of a training courses which will be presented in the near future.

Usecases

Bewel

In this use case we developed a robot gripper able to hold and orient and electric cabinet to an opperator. Trough visual feedback, the opperator is reminded of the required actions. The opperator can control the setup with some pedal switches.

Robotic Pruning

In this project AugmentX developd an end effector able to prune trees. This research project only required some help with rapid prototyping. The next step in this project is to run the robot without human input

Safer

In this project a cobot application was developed aiding in the revalidation process of patients. through the use of novel sensorised cuffs, the effort the patiënt is verified and based on this the cobot is controlled. This application is a must have tool for therapists is it allows them to gain accurate insights in the revalidation process of patients.
