Our Industrial Services
We offer a vast range of services that gravitate around three topics:
- A holistic ergonomic assessment of work in the lab or anywhere else.
- Exploring the possibilities of exoskeletons.

Our Research Services
AugmentX is a strong research partner in projects that assess human physical and cognitive stress. Our expertise with respect to integrated measurement of movement, forces, and physiological signals result in an impressive boost of quality and speed at which research takes place.
Mobile capabilities
Our mobile assessment capabilities are built around a synchronization framework, allowing us to integrate a variable number of sensors. This enables us to choose the set of sensors based on the requirements of the test campaign.
For example, the output includes biomechanical assessments based on measured ground reaction forces, simulation of weights in the hands, and measurement of body motion.
Our Laboratories
- The Validation and Demonstration lab in Kortrijk provides users with a vast industrial space. Here, we can handle very large and heavy components. We can also reproduce a mockup production line and test novel ideas over longer periods of time.
- The Research lab in Brussels is smaller; here, workpieces are limited to 25 kg. Additionally, measurement time and environmental mockups are more conservative. On the other hand, this lab offers the highest degree of precision.
Our Research Mission
Besides moving heaven and earth to achieve excellent results for our customers, AugmentX is in constant pursuit of expanding our technical capabilities, with the ultimate goal of highly accurate assessment of all major exoskeletons in the market. Our methodology is several years beyond the state of the art. For passive exoskeletons, this includes measurement of the exoskeleton characteristics, but for active ones, it implies real-time measurement of assistive torque.
